Corey D. Stone

Corey Stone has served as a recruiter and academic advisor at Mays Business School at Texas A&M University since December 2013. He is the primary recruiter for Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, the Brazos Valley, and Corpus Christi. On campus, Corey is a primary advisor for the Regents' Ambassador Program (RAP) learning community for Regents' Scholars and Dean's Scholars, who are primarily first-generation, economically-limited students from across the state of Texas. Additionally, Corey serves as one of two staff directors for the Leadership Initiative Conference (LINC) for admitted high school seniors, a supervisor for the Peer Recruitment & Outreach initiative (PRO Team), and the student organization advisor for Freshmen Reflecting While Developing (FRWD) a freshman leadership organization at Mays.
In 2017, Corey was selected as a Fish Camp Namesake for Session B, Blue. Additionally, in 2015, Corey was awarded Mays Business School's Star Performer Award. In that same year, he co-led his first study abroad trip, visiting Dubai, South Africa, Botswana, and Zambia. In Fall of 2017, Corey begins his first semester of graduate coursework within the College of Education and Human Development, targeting December 2019 completion of an M.S. in Higher Education Administration with emphasis in diversity and inclusion.
Outside of work, Corey enjoys travel and photography, shooting with a Nikon d7200, as well as pop culture, current events, fantasy football, and rooting for Texas A&M and Dallas sports teams. Corey lives in Bryan, Texas with his three year old dog, Leia.
